Dreambook enters the market

Dreambook has just entered the market in competition with Asus Eee PC's crown, with its all new UMPC, which has a 7-inch display (800 x 480), 1GHz Via C7-M processor, maximum 1GB RAM, either a 2GB, 4GB or 8GB flash storage or a 40GB HDD. The Pioneer Computers Dreambook Light IL1 seems like a worthy competitor to the Asus's Eee PC crown, but the $446 starting price is a bit high, even if they includes Vista or Ubuntu in the base price. It is also missing a few things like most usable internal Wifi. The Dreambook range also hosts three other models, among them one is a touchscreen model.

The another Dreambook Light CE26 features, 7-inch touchscreen display, 1.2GHz VIA C7-M processor, maximum 1GB memory and storage similar to the IL1's capacity. The base model will be priced at $699.
