Here is a new concept phone designed by Sunman Kwon, beautiful isn’t it? This is not just some touchscreen cell phone but it has a very distinguished feature, there is an integrated detachable Bluetooth headset, which can be separated for use and when connected to phone it can get charge itself.

After all this seems to be a promising factor, because you don't have to think about charging your Bluetooth headset separately.

However, when on the run I personally feel that Bluetooth headset may consume a lot of energy through cell phone to keep itself charged. Who knows maybe they have a turnoff switch on it, oh it is a bad joke. So just, wait until this concept may come to reality.

Getac PS535E rugged handheld

The Getac's new handheld phone PS535E is definitely a rugged one, fully complaint with MIL STD 810F and IP54 compliance, which makes it fully vibration and drop shock resistant that also includes resistance from temperature, humidity, water and dust.
The features are also not bad, equipped with high sensitive GPS receiver, 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 400 MHz S3C2440A processor from Samsung, 2 GB NAND flash storage capacity, 64MB SDRAM, 3.5-inch QVGA touchscreen with 262K colors (sunlight readable display), mini USB port, and Windows Mobile 5.0 Premium.
There is no idea of its price and avaiability.

Readius - Cell phone with e-paper display

At Mobile World Congress 2008, Polymer Vision Ltd. showed a cell phone named "Readius", which is equipped with a rollable/foldable electronic paper display. Users can reduce the storage space of the handset by folding up the electronic-paper display. The display is extended when the handset is used, and folded when it is stored, for example, in a pocket.
Readius comes with the ability of displaying electronic books and able to play mp3 files on it. This phone supports W-CDMA and HSDPA, which enables its users to have phone calls and good data communication, also includes a Li-ion battery with nearly about 1100mAh, which can work for 30 hours on a single charge.
Polymer Vision, said it will release the phone in the middle of 2008, and the first customer will be Telecom Italia, a telecommunication company in Italy. Also plans to ship nearly about 100,000 cell phones by the end of this year. A manufacturer in Taiwan assembles the phone for Polymer Vision. The company also consulting with other potential customers.
"When we announced we are ready to begin commercial production, many carriers contacted us. Carriers in Asian countries like Japan, as well as those in other regions, showed high interest," the company said.

Epoq EGP-WP88 - Wristwatch cum mobile phone

The latest from Epoq, EGP-WP88, it is a wristwatch cum Quad band 3G mobile phone, or you can say it is a mobile phone, which looks like a watch. It has some interesting features as well, it is waterproof to 50 meters, has a kinetic recharging system that means you can charge it by just wearing it, a 1.3 mega-pixel camera, an OLED Display showing the hands of an analog watch, it can play mp3 and mp4 files, and transfer data via USB or Bluetooth. As a mobile phone, WP88 can provide you about two and a half hours of talk time, and approximately 70 to 100 hours of standby time.
Epoq EGP-WP88 will hit the market by the end of this month, and with all interesting features, this will not come for cheap, costing $530.

13.3mm thick, LG-KH1800 phone dubbed as Orange color phone

While Samsung is quite popular with its sleek phones seems like LG is not leaving in competition behind with its new released 13.3mm thick 3G phone ‘LG-KH1800’ dubbed as ‘Orange color phone’ in Korea market, which can be noticed by it orange color keypad.
There is a multitasking button, which you can use for SMS, phone directory, alarm, even while on some call. This phone also features 3G WCDMA with automatic roaming facility, mp3 player, text viewer, 1 mega-pixel camera with another VGA resolution camera front mounted for voice calls, and a dictionary. This phone costs around $375.

Fujitsu FOMA F905i with finger print sensor

This new Fijitsu's FOMA F905i phone has an integrated finger print scanner for making mobile business transactions more secured. Fujitsu has collaborated with AuthenTec, the world’s leading provider of fingerprint sensors. This FOMA F905i integrated with AuthenTec’s AES1710 finger print sensor based on the TruePrint technology enables sensors to read virtually every fingerprint, every time. The sensor is located on the back of the handset to authenticate with a finger swipe. FOMA 905i also features built in mobile TV, 3.2-inch VGA TFT display, GPS, 3.2 mega-pixel camera, and with 3G/GSM can work around the world in 155 countries and regions. This phone is only available with NTT DoCoMo in Japan.

Philips Xenium cellphone with AAA battery option

The latest phone from Philips has a new way to keep your cell phone running when needed. Actually, the Philips Xenium 9@9j has a built in slot for AAA battery in it along with lithium ion battery, which will give this phone 3 extra hours of talk time. Most people believe that AAA battery is not a very good option and it is a bit bulky too, but ask that person who always finds his cell phones showing low battery message.
So, with this phone, whenever you are running low on lithium ion regular battery just pop in a AAA battery, which are easily available everywhere and gives you 3 hours of extra talk time.

Smartphone from Toshiba - Portego G810

Last month Toshiba just got officially into cellphones with their G710 and G910, but now they are planning to get one more smartphone in the market their Portego G810 at MWC. Like the earlier two phones, this one also comes with Windows Mobile 6, and it supports 3g HSDPA and HSUPA, built in GPS and AGPS, Wifi, and Bluetooth, 256MB internal memory. One can also expect a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen with a 3 megapixel camera with auto focus, micro SD card slot for expanding storage capacity and a FM radio.
There is no pricing declared, but it is quite clear that this phone will hit the European market very soon in a month or two.

Nokia introduces N78

The latest midrange Nokia N78 comes fully loaded with high speed HSPDA 3G support, Wi-Fi connectivity, FM music transmitter and integrated Assisted GPS (AGPS) with free Nokia Maps 2.0. In addition, this midrange handset features picture geotagging capability with the help of 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera and Carl Zeiss optics. Everything else is just as an average S60 Third edition pack 2, which comes with Bluetooth and Wifi, 3.5mm headphone out, and microSD memory card, currently available with upto 8GB and 2GB microSD card is already available in the package.
It is the first version of Nokia Nseries, which announced to be available in Europe and America including their 3G versions.
Nokia N78 is expected to start shipping by the Q2 this year, with expected price tag of $500.

HTC Advantage X7510 now with 16GB Flash Memory

HTC has revealed the latest version of the Advantage, the X7510. They have doubled the size of internal flash memory from 8GB to 16GB, also in addition it features TouchFLO, Opera Mobile 9, Google Maps as well. It rumored to be containing Windows Mobile 6.1. Also containing the features from the old Advantage version, which includes 5 inch VGA display, GPS with TomTom Navigator 6, triband HSDPA and Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, Wifi, QWERT magnetic keyboard, ATI video acceleration with Ahem, 256 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM, 624MHz processor.
The HTC Advantage X7510 will be available by the March of this year, but only for European countries, US user have to wait for a while, but its not certain whether they get their hands on it or not. There is no clear idea about its pricing.
