Philips Pronto TSU 9600 with WiFi

The new Philips Pronto TSU 9600 is a universal remote, which can control almost anything from a central location like your home theater system, music libraries, cable TV; it can even do your lighting if you have an automation system installed. It works on WiFi technology and has a 3.7-inch touch-screen (640 x 480 pixels). It is said to be powerful enough to work through walls. Well that is good because you do not have to install separate WiFi routers to work with it. A few people are suspicious about it that it may have side effects living in such a close proximity from a device like this. All of its functions are easily configurable by a PC, which enhances rich user experience.

Pronto is a must own for anyone who ever considered (or actually purchased) theater-style seating for a home screening room, or for anyone who wants to get spoiled by sitting at a place and controlling everything.

Watch Streaming TV on iPhone or iPod Touch through Wifi

Packet Video just started showing off their new Mobile Broadcast Receiver at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. This device is rechargeable and all you need is a wireless broadband access point (WiFi). This in turn means that your device must be equipped with the WiFi feature, well it is getting common with all new mobile handsets to posses built in WiFi.
Anyways this device will be available during this year, but Packet Video usually deals with service providers, not with the consumers. So, let us wait and see until this device comes out to market.

When traveling people always wonders about the security of their houses, here is a simple gadget solution. It is a bot by WowWee called as Rovio, which can crawls into your house when you go out, and let you see and hear the instant streaming feeds through a VGA camera on it over the internet. The slick, beetle-like Rovio could be controlled from any internet-enabled device (mobile phone, PC or video game console) with the help of its WiFi b/g support. This device has a special NorthStar Navigation system, which helps it to wandering into the house, and avoiding all the obstacles on its way. It also has LED lights to make it find the way in dark.

Wifi solution by Cradlepoint

If you are a crazy person and want to go wireless in your home even by a Phone, then this gadget is for you. This one is awesome gadget that can take the internet connection from your phone, and turn it into an 802.11b/g network, others can also connect through the same. If you dont want them to steal on your connection, then put the 64/128bit encryption that must be enough for most hackers out there.

The bad thing about is that right now its compatibility is limited to certain Sprint and Verizon products. As they both have very strong 3G networks, but they don't have enough coverage area. But still you need a Verizon or Sprint device to use this gadget, its cost around $179, but no body will regret to have this product.
