Watch Streaming TV on iPhone or iPod Touch through Wifi

Packet Video just started showing off their new Mobile Broadcast Receiver at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. This device is rechargeable and all you need is a wireless broadband access point (WiFi). This in turn means that your device must be equipped with the WiFi feature, well it is getting common with all new mobile handsets to posses built in WiFi.
Anyways this device will be available during this year, but Packet Video usually deals with service providers, not with the consumers. So, let us wait and see until this device comes out to market.

150-inch World's largest plasma HDTV

Every year all the gadget lovers wait for the CES in Las Vegas, and the reason is that the companies show-off their latest gadgets in technology, and what is about to come very soon. This year most peoples attention is towards the Panasonic's world's largest Plasma HDTV. They going to break last years record which was taken by the Sharp's LCD TV and that was for 108 inch. Infact earlier in 2006, Panasonic had the same record for plasma HDTV and that one was measured 103 inch. So its like a revenge is taken back. This new 150 inch plasma HDTV is bigger by 47 inch diagonally as compare to the last model and will be the world largest. This is developed by Matsushita Electric Development Co. The display is 2 meter by 3.5 meter, known to be enough for displaying a full scale adult. The pricing for this world's biggest plasma screen is not disclosed yet, but we all know that, its going to be as hugely expensive as its size is. This 150 inch plasma HDTV may hit the stores in 2009.

Cowon D2TV

Portable Media Players are making quite a splash these days on the market, and it seems like the best ones these days are based on video playback.

A company called Cowon has recently released the D2TV, a PMP that has enough memory for 9 hours of 1Seg mobile TV. Or if it is audio you’re looking to play, you can do about 45 hours. As far as battery power is concerned, you can do about 7.5 hours.

There are two models available. The D2-2G is a 2GB model available in white and costs about $220. The D2-8G is in glossy black, and costs about $310.

Unfortunately, these models are only available in Japan. This is quite typical of technology that usually hits Asia before it comes to us.

Okay, I’m going to open up the floor. Does anyone know what the best video PMP is out there? I suppose some people could say the iPod, but the screen may be too small. This D2TV has a 2.5 inch color touchscreen, but maybe that’s not good enough for you.

Still, you have to ask yourself at what point does the PMP get too large to be a PMP? Right now, the Cowon D2TV does not look like it will fit into your pocket.
