Palette for Digital Artists

Here is a design concept of handheld PC, which the digital artists preferably like to wear for their new creative designs. This beautiful Palette Digital Artist is an entry for the Microsoft's NextGen PC Design Competition for the year 2008.

This Palette is a handheld touch-screen PC with a thumbhole for the easy handling, also having a Stylus, which enables you to work digitally but like the good old days. This stylish design will give you that painterly feeling that is sorely lacking with conventional computers.

The connections for the Palette are all wireless, the design of this device also happens to have a DVD drive, which feels a bit odd on this shape screen, but in future who know what will be the ideal shape of a PC. Also thinking this shape makes sense for more than just painting.

3D printer from Thinglab

Well here is an amazing device, which can let you take print in 3D. This device can actually make your computer based 3D projects come to life. You can easily use this printer like any other inkjet printer as said by the Thinglab. It can print complex engineering projects, working concept models with upto 16 million colors and 700 dpi.

This is ideal for product design development, jewelry design, and architectural models. 3D printing is fast and cost effective as claimed by Thinglab. It does seem good if you are about to give a presentation then you can make a 3D model in just a few hours. One thing for sure, this device does not made for the home use, it is entirely for commercial and official works.

This device is available by the Thinglab and it costs around $40000. Therefore, it is definitely not for home use.
Here is a video explaining how it works.

Portable PC Theater

Okay, so here is a concept designed Projector by Jin Woo Han, which he called it for pure entertainment purpose. It a Projector that can be easily connected to a laptop of a PC and can easily be replaced to suit your positioning. Also Stereo speakers set just beside the lens, i don't know how many people will gonna to like it, but its pretty good as projector is mostly near to viewers then the screen. One more thing is that all the units are connected with retractable cords, that means you don't have to worry about getting cords tangled, all this and only 3 dvds and 2 cds wide. So enjoy your favorite movies with your loved ones.
