Still using AA batteries in anything?
I use them in a wall clock and in my TV remote, well in not too many gadgets as most of them are rechargeable, but still if you want to have rechargeable AA batteries they are also available but a lot more expensive then the regular batteries plus you have to buy a charger as well.
Simple solution for your AA battery need is Moixa USB cell, which can be recharged by just plugging into any USB port. No need to buy extra charger, just pull its cap and plug it into any computer with USB port. In technical sense, Moixa batteries can get charge for about 7 hours with power of 250mA current in just 1 - 2 hours. There are LED's on it to show its charging level.
Just make sure that USB ports are not so close to each other, cause if it is, then you may no be able to plug all batteries together.
