There is a company who is working on it, and named it as Cervellum Bike Digital Rearview Mirror, now you know it’s a digital mirror and you can see what’s happening behind you. People generally don’t feel like using a rear view over a bike that why they hardly think about it. But it seems useful if you really don’t want to bump yourself while taking a wrong turn, or riding your bike on some street where is no sidewalk and suddenly there is a huge truck showed up at the back.
This device runs for about 4 hours in a single charge, so I guess you will not be able to go on long rides with it, but for the short distances it’s pretty good. This Cervellum digital rearview mirror may also come up with GPS. So one might never get lost on the street. But until it comes out just wait. As this device is still a concept but it may be in market very soon. The prices are expected to be around $200.
