SwitchBack - Ultra Rugged mobile PC

Usually when someone says UMPC, people thinks of it like something very delicate and fragile, but it is not going to be their image anymore. This new UMPC by the SwithBack is the most toughest mobile PC you have ever seen. In fact on the booth at CES the man was tossing it on the floor and its still working. This is waterproof up to 1 meter depth and for up to 30 minutes.
Also there is "BackPack" Roper mobile technology, which is said to be for customers to design customized BackPacks that are right for them, it includes - digital camera, Mag-Stripe Reader, Barcode or RFID scanner, Biometric readers, High def audio, Graphic card, Compact flash, Custom communication devices. In addition, there is an option if you want more customization such as, Type II PCMCIA, USB 2.0, Serial Port, VGA output, Audio Line in/out.

The hard drive is removable, as well as the battery is hot swappable. The battery pack shows indicator about its remaining power level. It has a 5.6-inch touchscreen, also a built in touch device with QWERTY thumb keyboard. Also built in Wireless - GPS, 802.11 b/g, and Bluetooth.

Its ruggedness can handle - temperature, temperature shock, vibration, shock, humidity.
Overall, it is the most rugged UMPC that I have ever seen. There is no exact idea about its price and availability.
